Victorian Restoration Bootroom

An extensive restoration of the Victorian Manor House was overseen by architect Alex McIntyre, with Lewis&Hill being commisioned to design and manufacture the interior furniture. A particularly favourite room of our client was this charming Bootroom with it’s vaulted plaster ceiling. In keeping with the chapel like feel of the room, a classic Oak pew was commissioned, which was carefully stained to add age and character, and the handmade cloaks cabinets were finished in Farrow&Ball Moles Breath 276, and fiited with hardware from the Washwood range by Armac Martin
