Pastel Painted Rectory Kitchen, Derbyshire, March 2021

An extensive renovation of this Georgian Rectory afforded the owners the opportunity to modernise and re-design the kitchen. The removal of an internal wall allowed the layout to be optimised for family living, whilst the furniture was designed to enhance and compliment the high ceilings. Oak parquet flooring and burnished brass hardware add warmth to the pastel colour palette chosen for the painted cabinet finish, with Carrera Venato quartz worktops finishing off the project beautifully whilst adding light and practicality. Modern cooking appliances in the form of a bespoke Ilve range with a Westin integrated extractor fit within the re-purposed chimney area, which is finished with a bespoke painted mantle shelf.
