Classic Painted kitchen in Hague Blue and Ammonite, Rutland

An extensive renovation project of a Rutland Manor House presented the owners with an opportunity to create a light and open plan family dining  kitchen, whilst still retaining the original features of the property. Existing alcoves have been sympathetically re-purposed to provide additional built in storage cabinets, with the main kitchen area providing a practical and spacious environment for a growing young family. Farrow&Ball Hague Blue was chosen as a bold Island colour, complemented by the lighter tones of Farrow&Ball Ammonite offset with aged brass hardware from the Armac Martin range. The Limestone floor tiles add warmth to the kitchen pallette, whilst the white Konigstone Ontario quartz worktops reflect clean and bright natural light back in to the room. Cooking is taken care of with a classic cream AGA, supplemented by a BORA extracting hob in the island, and refrigeration is by Fisher&Paykell.
